Illustration Process

  • Process:

My book cover process is usually the same for most projects, as seen here. I’m also always happy to work within client’s custom needs and deadlines. Let’s make eye-catching books!

  • 1. Sketches

I begin with 2-4 sketches of various compositions and custom hand lettered title treatments inspired by the brief provided by the client.

  • 2. Revisions

Based on client feedback, I do up to 2 rounds of revisions to get the cover in the right direction. I also introduce color options to choose from. This is my favorite part!

  • 3. Final

At this stage I complete minor edits and finalize the color palette. I deliver the high resolution file at the client’s specifications and eagerly await the release of this book! Yay!
